Developed by me from a spontaneous absurdity based on the Washerwomen's Branle which occurred at a St Valentine's Day Assassins' Ball a few years ago...
 

• 4 Doubles LRLR, glancing suspiciously from side to side.
• Turn to your partner and do two singles LR, the gentleman making overhand stabbing motions while the lady spreads both hands on her upper chest. Optional Aaaargh!
• Do two singles LR, the lady making underhand stabbing motions (everyone knows that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, up under the ribs, right?) while the gentleman clutches his midriff. Optional Oof!
• Turn back to the centre of the circle and double left whilst clubbing your neighbours with imaginary blunt instruments
• Take hands gingerly and double right.
• Double left whilst clubbing your neighbours with imaginary blunt instruments
• Raise one arm half way up your face as if hiding behind a cloak and execute 3 kicks LRL while turning left on the spot, then fling open your cloak to reveal... that you are about to join hands again. Repeat the above.
